Reading 7. Subin Jung

 1. Summary

There is a copyright culture in Wikipedia. Copyright is an important factor in any way. Anyone can become a creator by reworking existing media, which is democratic and builds culture. However, it can be added to the problem of copyright. There can be arguments in intellectual property rights and copyright laws.
Remix culture is a term that refers to the practice of recombining existing media to create new works, encompassing everything from music to literature, and technology is the driving force. Remix culture has been widespread mainly since the advent of digital technology and the Internet, and the concept of remix has a long history based on the period during which the culture flourished. One of the main characteristics of remix culture is that it obscures the line between creators and consumers. Despite this controversy, the remix culture is flourishing.

2. An interesting point.
It was interesting that anyone could become a creator if they reworked the media, but in this regard, they could be swept away by copyright issues.
Although we overlook the fact that we should be aware of copyrights that we do not know well, and that we should follow the rules and implement them, we were interested in the part that raised awareness about them.

3. Discussion

What's the extent of copyright that you think is when it comes to recreating the media, and what's the extent to which creativity is acceptable?
