 1. Summary

Wikipedia is a very open community, which has advantages and disadvantages.
Wikipedia is exploring the definition of openness, focusing on the accessibility and flexibility of collaboration, and the broad sharing of content. Open content licenses, transparency, integrity, non-discrimination, and non-interference, which are characteristics of the open content community, are summarized. It also mentions free and open source software (FOSS) movements that influence the concept of openness.
However, we cannot leave out the disadvantages of this open content. Controversy continues over malicious editing, anonymous editing, reliability and accuracy of information. There is a need for a compromise to control this polarization.
