 1. Summary 

Through articles, I learned that Wikipedia's category function is a useful organization and navigation tool, which can help readers better browse and find articles on related topics. The classification function organizes Wikipedia articles according to certain topics, fields or other specific standards, making it easier for users to browse and obtain the information they need. By grouping articles on related topics into corresponding categories, readers can find what they are interested in more easily, thus improving the overall browsing experience. Despite some challenges, through active user participation and continuous improvement, the category feature can continue to play its important role in improving the usability of Wikipedia.

2. Interesting point

The Wikipedia taxonomy is co-edited and maintained by users, which also means that the refinement and improvement of the taxonomy is a collaborative process. Users can add, modify or reorganize the categories as needed to better meet the needs of readers and improve the accuracy and practicality of the categories.

However, there are several challenges and limitations to Wikipedia's classification function. Since the classification is edited and managed by the user, there may be some subjectivity and controversy. Different users may have different views on the classification criteria and organization, which may lead to challenges in the consistency and standardization of classification. In addition, as Wikipedia continues to grow and update, the taxonomy also needs to be continuously maintained and adjusted to new content and needs.

As mentioned in the article, no one would have imagined that Wikipedia could become the top website today.
