1. Summary
"Wikimedia Commons" (short form "Commons") is a media repository that is created and maintained by volunteers. It is a place for free and open pictures, sounds, and other multimedia files. The uploaded files can be used in other wiki projects, including wikipedia, wikipedia textbooks, wikipedia news, etc.The name "Wikimedia Commons" is derived from the umbrella project Wikimedia that manages all Wikimedia projects and the word "common" as it is a common project (commons) that stores media for use on all Wikimedia projects.
2. Interesting point
I can upload my own photos in some areas of interest and type meaningful photos into meaningful titles and related catalogues.Or I can describe what's on display in the picture or take pictures of attractions. These descriptions can make photos easier to find by Wikipedia editors and reduce the chance of being deleted.
3. Discussion
What are some things to note about the authorization information?
I believe in respecting the information of others while protecting your own authorized information. As well as complying with the WiKimedia Commons upload rules. Only upload your own original work or the work of someone else who has been granted a license for that work. Images found in other media cannot be used for direct upload.
