 1）Summarize of metirals

Wikimedia Commons (Commons) is a library of media documents created and maintained by volunteer, unpaid artists. Wikimedia Commons takes its name from its mother project, Wikimedia, which controls all Wikimedia projects. Shared Resources is available to all Wikimedia projects, providing all Wikimedia projects with a central library of freely available materials, images, animations, music, language files, videos, and other media files. I can put in public domain resources here, and I can upload all files that can be used within the Wikimedia project with free use agreements. I can also use it at any time without violating his license agreement, even for non-Wikipedia projects.

 

 

2）Something interseting I learned

There is no way to upload Java or Flash programs for teaching and demonstrating concepts. The shared resource is not interested in being a repository for software, it is just a repository for media files. Flash is somewhere in the twilight zone between media and software, while Java is clearly software.

 

3）Discussion

Since they are shared resources and there may be no guarantee of quality, how do we select the most suitable and the highest quality resources when we use them?
