 1、Summary 

Wikipedia is built by countless volunteer scholars, players, students and other knowledgeable people around the world.Even today, the number of participants, especially those with good education, continues to be well-educated.In fact, Wikipedia is not a technology, but a creative way to use it, but it is the most important and difficult thing for an advanced technology to do well.

Wikipedia is also a mixture of democracy, meritocracy and dictatorship.Most of the content is usually discussed and modified by ordinary Wikipedians, usually in a democratic form of democracy.Participants in Wikipedia work follow some basic rules.These codes enable the whole programme to proceed smoothly and effectively.

People encourage each other, but different people have different ideas and opinions, so conflicts inevitably occur.These incentives and conflicts together stimulate Wikipedia's growth.Even if it disappears one day, Wikipedia is a great project as a result of people working together and its memories and emotions will last forever.

2、Interesting point

Based on research showing that Wikipedia contribution is slowing, journalist Stephen Foley asks, “is Wikipedia cracking up?”In 2005, law professor Eric Goldman predicted Wikipedia would “fail” in 2010 (i.e., close access or become spam ridden), repeated the prediction in 2006, and in 2009 made the claim at a conference.But the fact remains that Wikipedia is still developing steadily to this day.

    The world is currently experiencing rapid advancements in culture and science. It is likely that cultural products and the latest scientific innovations will become the key new content to be recorded of Wikipedia. It is possible that current cultural trends will persist until they become too fast for Wikipedia editors to keep up with. If these trends emerge at a pace that surpasses the speed of recording, it could be a sign that a singularity has already occurred.
    By that time, AI may volunteer for a wiki editor.
