1: Summary

  The ultimate goal of Wikipedia is to build an encyclopedia of the sum of all human knowledge. So far it has a long history of creation, and there are many, many co-creators. Creating a world encyclopedia is a daunting task, and the trivia on Wikipedia is a joy to some and a mockery to others. Still, Wikipedia insists that combining greater access to information with human harmony is a long-held dream. And there are more and more co-creators joining in.

  Wikipedia is free, dedicated to making the sum of knowledge freely available to everyone on the planet.

  So far, Wikipedia has been very successful, with many active language encyclopedias, millions of articles and a handful of other Wikimedia projects, as well as many users.


2：Interesting point

  Wikipedia is not simply uploaded and published content by website administrators, and users find and watch content. Instead, every user can be a publisher and co-creator of Wikipedia. This way can also collect different knowledge from all over the world faster. It can also be a window for global knowledge exchange.


3：  Discussion point

  The current Wikipedia is completely free. With people's awareness of intellectual property rights and the understanding and acceptance of payment for knowledge, will Wikipedia be converted into paid use in the future? If yes, how to pay to acquire knowledge?

    I don't see Wikipedia becoming paid for knowledge in the future. Because Wikipedia was created to be shared for free to everyone in the world.
