 1)Summary:

 We all know that anyone can edit Wikipedia. This is a major feature of Wikipedia, but while pursuing openness, Wikipedia also faces many difficulties and challenges. Due to the different purposes of users on the Internet, when Wikipedia is fully open, it will not only attract volunteers who edit because of love. There will also be malicious editors who disrupt the authenticity of Wikipedia content and reduce the quality of Wikipedia content. Becoming a stumbling block to Wikipedia's ultimate goal of producing a high-quality encyclopedia.

 Wikipedia is seen as an open and free encyclopedia, with a central desire to increase access to information and open opportunities for anyone who wants to learn. However, due to many disadvantages, Wikipedia has adopted a protection mechanism. From the range that can be edited without registration before, many entries adopt semi-protected pages. It means that you must be a registered user for seven days and edit more than 50 times before you can edit. Such an approach will be questioned by many people about Wikipedia's original claim that anyone can edit content without restriction. But openness does not mean that malicious editing can be allowed. Wikipedia is not an unregulated forum for free speech. It is to achieve a high-quality encyclopedia, so it is not anarchy without policies.

 The Wikipedia community can also demonstrate the openness of Wikipedia. The community is a self-organizing group organized entirely by volunteers. The administrators in the community are all generated according to the method of network selection. This kind of self-organization forms the basis of the Wikipedia community, embodies the freedom of Wikipedia, and keeps the open development of Wikipedia always orderly. status.

 Wikipedia is full of challenges in the process of opening up, and needs to face the issues of balancing openness and transparency, integrity, bureaucracy and non-discrimination. It is a great challenge for Wikipedia to continue to improve the composition of high-quality content in the process of continuously discovering and solving problems.  When editing Wikipedia, you should try to discuss editing articles with other contributors. Arguments are open, and more discussion can give a fuller perspective on the arguments being edited.
