In this article, Wikipedia's goal is to create and maintain an encyclopedia that encompasses all areas of human knowledge. "DID you know (shortened DYK)" shows new and improved content by presenting certain facts. DYK is a small version of a specific content or good article. The first goal of DYK is to present new and improved content to readers. Second, to provide insight by emphasizing various information in Wikipedia. Third, otherwise, facts on various topics must be presented. Fourth, to contribute to maintaining editors and continuous content improvement through continuous efforts. Fifth, to facilitate the recruitment of new editors. DYK's rules require editors to create, identify, and propose new content in order to specify what should be displayed in DYK. The four basic criteria for determining whether a DYK candidate is eligible should be 1. New, 2.It should be long enough, 3. it should use a citation source. 4.It can also review.


[INTERESTING POINT]

It is interesting that DYK allows readers to see new articles. One of the DYK rules is applicable only when one of the three elements of creation, expansion, and upgrade to a good article is satisfied within 7 days. It is impressive that there are strict standards.

    If Wikipedia creates a system to award editors, more editors will participate in DYK editing.
