 1. Summary

Wikipedia is an open content community. Because of its open nature, there are difficulties that can arise within a voluntary and consensus-oriented community. This difficulty can be criticized as autocratic and over-influential leaders, but without them, it can be difficult to make up for the shortcomings created by openness.
Jimmy Wales is described as a leader with considerable authority over Wikipedia, but is not officially called a " benevolent dictator." Rather, I acknowledge that the leader delegated authority to Wikipedia's board of directors and dispute settlement committees while maintaining decision-making authority. We also discuss the scope of editorial rights and the need to clarify the role of Wikipedia content formation in Wales.
As time goes by, in Wikipedia, an open space, democratic, voluntary, community activities and participation are important.


2. Interesting/Useful Points
Leaders are praised and criticized for any activity. So it was interesting about Jimmy Wales' leadership. As the saying goes, "Lies of good faith," I thought he was a cool leader in terms of providing a good community, even though the praise and criticism he received while running Wikipedia were compatible.


3. Discussion
I wonder what are the important roles and qualities of leaders in creating the open content community Wikipedia.
